Why You Should Build Your Own Pool With Fireside

At Fireside Pools, we dont believe people should pay more than they have to and that everyone should be able to have their dream pool for an affordable price.  That is why we created Fireside Pools so that we can help people save an average of 25% by building their own pool like I did.

Pool Companies Overcharge

Pool companies overcharge because they have to pay overhead.  This means by building your own pool, you can spend an average of 25% less for the pool you want or get more upgrades than you would have for the same price as a pool companies 'base pool'. Homeowner builders bypass the overhead costs pools companies have such as the 5% sales commission for the sales person who designs your pool then you never hear from again once booked.

You Can Use the Same Sub-Contractors

Pool companies don't actually build pools, they typically hire the subcontractors to do the work, just as you would.  The difference is you are hiring each subcontractor yourself and paying them the same as what the pool company pays without paying them (the middle man).  As long as you are using licensed, bonded and insured sub-contractors, these are the same sub-contractors that the pool companies use.

Pool Companies Aren't Always Clear

Pool companies use sales people, confusing terms and contracts to mislead, using this ambiguity to charge you more while giving you less.  With building your own pool, you learn about the pool building process and get various estimates for work and features to ensure you get the features you want at the prices that are reasonable. We stay with our customers throughout the process, guiding you so that you are are clear in what you are getting and so you are not doing this alone.
